Flavia Mazzanti`s artistic work explores the relations and entanglements between human and non-human presences, and how perception and memory reshape our experience of reality.

“In the Presence of What Remains” brings together a new series of post-photographic works developed between Vienna, São Paulo, and Tokyo.
Within these personal contexts, impressions emerge as fragments – encounters suspended in time.

Through recomposition, these fragments form dense visual fields in which past and present coexist. Perception and memory unfold as relational forces through moments of appearance and absence, not centered on the human subject but embedded within material conditions and presences.
